Laurel Lane, Art Director

She calls herself a “wee-bit crazy”, but the creative mind of award-winning designer, “eLLe” Laurel Lane, has twenty-five years experience in the field of design. She was dubbed “Your Carolina ColorGirl” when she launched “The Laurel Lane Collection” paint color palette for Sherwin Williams in 2007 through her interior design business, but Laurel’s love for all aspects of design soon led her to a new nickname, “eLLe” (the first letter of her name), when she expanded her portfolio to include set decorating and production design for the growing film industry in North Carolina, by opening another business, aLL Set Studios.

Whether you choose to call her by the name “Laurel” or “eLLe”, her clients call her creative and talented, as she is well known for looking beyond “the obvious” to achieve the visual image desired by both, clients and filmmakers. Voted “Raleigh’s Young Entrepreneur”, “The Best of Johnston County” and the “GCCC’s Business of the Month”, she is well liked and respected in the design community. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, such as “Designer Dreamhomes”, “NC Signature”, and “At Home” magazines, as well as, in productions including web series, commercials, music videos and feature films, included Remnants (2011), River Guard (2013) and Bombshell Studio’s production of No-Good Maxine (2011).
